Vegas Golden Knights Crush Colorado Avalanche in Game Three of Second Round

The Vegas Golden Knights, in an epic battle, managed to crush the Colorado Avalanche in Game Three of the second round on Monday night by a score of 5-2. The victory gives Vegas a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.

One reason for their success was goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, who made some key saves to preserve the victory. Fleury finished with 33 saves on 35 shots.

Another big reason for the win was the play of James Neal, who scored two goals and added an assist. Neal now has six goals and three assists in nine playoff games this year.

"It was a great team effort," Neal said after the game. "We battled hard and played well together. We have to keep it going in Game Four."

Vegas will look to take a 3-1 lead when they face off against Colorado again on Wednesday night at 9:00pm ET.

HOUSTON -- The Houston Rockets started their quest for the first championship in franchise history with a resounding victory over the Utah Jazz in Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinal playoff series.
